The water was way to cold to stand in long enough to pee, so I was grateful the bathrooms were open and very clean, with soft 2 ply TP. It's still only $8 to park, well worth it as i'm not a fan of parking on PCH and playing frogger to save a paltry $8. With its long wide sands, clean water, & perfect surf, beautiful Zuma Beach is considered one of the finest beaches in the Los Angeles area. There are facilities for practically every beachtime activity & sport. I spent a day enjoying Zuma to the max ~ picnic spread, beach umbrella, blankets, the works.

Played on the beach & in the surf. It was like being part of a scene on TV or in a movie! Zuma has forever been a popular filming destination. A Dinner Date was the only thing that fetched me away before Sunset.

It's a beautiful beach to watch the sunset. Waves are huge and people set up modest picnics to just relax. I loved the chill vibe and the fact that it's not touristy. No lifeguards on duty when we were there.. Bathroom facilities were available but locked up early.

We parked on the shoulder along PCH like most people to avoid paying in the lot. I've been going to this beach since my diaper days. Best caught waves when boogie boarding, biggest sand castle creations, and now, a secret haven for sea glass treasure hunting.

The beach is always cleaned and swept early in the morning, the bathrooms aren't (too) bad considering they are public, and the parking, if you master the timing, is fair. I love me some Zuma beach! Nice beach for the area. Parking was cash, fairly easy to get to. We stopped at a nearby grocery for water and snacks and it was a zoo. There was a parking attendant for a grocery store. Once we got to the beach, they had a little cafe, a bathroom, and a lifeguard.

It was great for my niece, the waves weren't too powerful. It was crowded, but not so crowded that you couldn't move around or have fun. I think for options in the area, this is one of your best bets. First off parking is $1. Watch Crystal Hunt Online Freeform. Saturday which is a little steep in my opinion but considering you're parking 1. Definitely a good beach for families or people with kids.

Good atmosphere and everyone's so respectful of the beach and each other. I didn't see any trash anywhere, plus the sand and ocean were so clean.

Life guards were super vigilant of everyone in the water and proactive when the currents got a bit strong. Greatly appreciated! Beautiful beach! Loooove it! Zuma is a great beach. We've been coming here since we moved to So.

Cal about a year ago and have always enjoyed it. It's mostly pretty clean and never gets too crowded, except during those hot Summer months. There's paid parking ($3- $8 in the Winter and $3- 1. Summer) if you have lots of things to unload, but keep in mind there's only one entrance at the south end of the beach. You can also find free parking anywhere along the PCH; it's a 4 mile stretch of beach so you can't lose wherever you park.

Tip: be prepared to jump down to the lower level if you park on the PCH. There's plenty of restrooms with a changing area as well as outdoor showers. Beach restrooms are what they are, no seat covers, but they do have real TP and not those thin little squares that make you wanna use like 4. The waves can get pretty big so if you wanna do a little surfing, this is a cool spot. Lifeguard stations are located up and down the entire beach. I don't think the water is as warm as the beaches more south of Malibu, and on some days the wind can get pretty crazy (even in Aug- Sep), so come prepared. Oh, and one last thing, there's NO PETS and NO ALCOHOL allowed on the beach.

Amazing beach with awesome views. Malibu is a very clean and safe town. Water of course is cold but you get used to it pretty quickly.

There's a parking fee to get in. Zuma is definitely a popular beach in the Malibu area. If you are trying to visit during the summer or on any warm weekend, expect a lot of people. While you are able to pay for parking, I suggest finding spots on PCH or near Westward.

You may have to circle once or twice, but it's not terrible. I love that Zuma is clean and offers a great stretch of beach to walk or run. There are also volleyball courts and public restrooms conveniently located. If you get hungry, I highly recommend the Sunset Restaurant's happy hour. This beach is amazing! It's a huge stretch of gorgeous clean sand that is perfect for walking along the crashing waves. There are also ample rows of beach volleyball courts close to the paid parking lot.

Beautiful water and lots of parking. The backdrop of the mountains and blue sky are right out of a postcard. Great beach for families, couples, bikers, walkers and joggers.**Yelp 1. Challenge 2. 01. 7 6. Love this beach. If you're willing to make the hike out to Malibu (assuming you're not lucky enough to live there), you will be rewarded with an impressively clean beach, a nice departure from the Santa Monica places. Lots of Volleyball courts and fun people- watching.

LEAVE EARLY. Free parking spots will be very difficult to snag if you're late to the party. Came at 2. 30 this past Sunday (FINALLY sunny enough to go to the beach!) and just paid the $8 for parking because I didn't want to deal with fighting for a free spot. It drops to $4 after 4 pm (closes at sunset/6. Sunday). Be aware, there is really shitty service around here, so make a plan/drop a pin before you get there to plan where you're going to meet up with your friends. We love this beach. Always have. Personally, I loved to come here in the winter time, walk or sit, listen to my i. Pod and just stare out at the ocean and relax.

It's practically deserted (as you'd expect) at that time and very peaceful. Visited Zuma Beach at 2pm on a Thursday.

Very calm & quiet - not a lot of people. Plenty of parking for $8. I love this beach! I went to Malibu last september for the Nautica Annual Triathlon at Zuma Beach. Zuma is beautiful with white sands, clean water, and great weather.

The beach is a very long strip with many parking spots available. Admission is around $8 to $1.

The bathrooms are kept very clean for such a large beach. I went to the beach twice, once on Sunday morning (the morning of the triathlon) and the other was a Tuesday evening. Two completely different atmospheres.

On Sunday, the beach was a little chillier than I expected and the beach was packed for the event. The sun did not shine all day. Tuesday evening I went back to the beach with some friends and we sat and watched the sunset. It was a beautiful breathtaking moment. The beach was quiet, people were scattered here and there and the sunset was stunning. The only thing that isn't really great on the beach is trying to get a data signal. I couldn't get a proper connection which was a little crazy when I needed to request an Uber ride.

For some, that could be a good thing or a bad thing. If you're trying to stay out of touch from people, this a great place to do so. I loved the beach, loved the atmosphere, and I loved Malibu. I'll definitely be going back.

We'd just gotten to California from Denver and was dying to see the beach! We'd pulled into Zuma Beach and was told it was something silly like $1.

F that. We left and noticed all the cars on the side of the road, so we found a place to turn around and got free parking instead! It was early on Saturday morning so not many people were out, the road was quiet, few surfers in the water. The sun hadn't quite come out yet do we didn't swim, just put our feet in and walked along.

From what we saw it was a very clean beach with plenty of restrooms and lifeguard towers. I imagine that it'll get busy in the height of summer! Very nice drive and beautiful beach with great stretch of pristine waters. We actually spotted dolphins in the ocean and throughly enjoyed the sunset.
